Traditionally, kiosks are first manufactured by hardware sheet metal shops, after which system integrators select software components such as operating systems (Windows, Chrome OS, Android). Remote management software is then used to deploy content and applications to the kiosk solution. Users are often able to navigate out of the kiosk mode, which causes huge operational issues for both vendors and end customers.
Shoonya provides the first full-stack software solution for the kiosk industry. Shoonya’s ability to customize the OS and dynamically lock down kiosks all the way to the hardware layer significantly improves operational efficiency and performance for kiosk vendors.
Currently, most kiosks provide software configuration at the surface level. Shoonya's kiosk OS is locked down from the hardware level and can automatically detect any intrusion or changes to the system.
